Business Consultant and Project Manager
About me
As an independent business consultant and project manager I support banks and other financial service providers in planning and executing projects concerning bank supervision, risk management and reporting. Twenty years of professional experience in the banking industry – initially at the German Central Bank (Bundesbank), subsequently as a consultant for German and international banks – have shaped my approach to project work to this very day.
I am a member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) and, since 2002, GARP certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM®).
For my clients I take over compliance related projects (e.g. of the German and European bank supervision) that analyze and handle the implications of such requirements for risk management and reporting. I support these projects during their entire lifecycle – from preliminary studies right through to professional conception and successful implementation. My hobby is “Business Rules” for the definition of complex specialist requirements in IT implementation projects.
